She has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the ‘Federico II’ University of Naples; has earned a Research Doctorate in Digestive and Nutritional Pathophysiology at the School of Medicine of the Second University of Naples. Full Professor at the Department of Experimental Medicine of the ‘Luigi Vanvitelli’ University of Campania. She is the author of over 100 scientific publications. She is a member of the Italian Society of Biochemistry (SIB).
